Riding the wave…
A&T Media is a commercial photography and videography studio helping businesses tell their story through cinematic content. Founded by Aaron and Taylor in 2020, the business began as Coastal Film Co, filming weddings before evolving into two distinct brands: Wildfolk Films for weddings and A&T Media for commercial work.
Today, A&T Media works with builders, trades, real estate agencies and fitness brands across Sydney, producing content that sits between large-scale production companies and DIY social media. Their work is polished, cinematic and approachable, giving growing businesses access to professional content that reflects the quality of their own work.
The new identity was created to support this evolution, presenting A&T Media as a confident, established studio while staying connected to the founders’ story.
The Challenge
As the business matured, the original branding no longer reflected the calibre of work being produced. The identity needed to feel more professional and adaptable while remaining distinctive in a competitive creative industry.
It also needed to acknowledge Aaron and Taylor’s background. Growing up around wakeboarding and the Hawkesbury River has always been part of their story, and the new brand aimed to capture that influence in a subtle, meaningful way rather than relying on obvious visual references.
The Solution
The final identity balances strong geometric typography with a custom graphic language inspired by movement.
A bold uppercase wordmark establishes confidence and stability, while custom letterforms introduce a sense of rhythm and creativity. The most recognisable feature is the ampersand, where a flowing wave has been integrated into the design. When the logo works by itself as a monogram, the ampersand also looks like an M.
Rather than being purely decorative, the wave carries multiple layers of meaning. It references the movement of water and the founders’ connection to the wakeboarding community, while also symbolising the rhythm found throughout filmmaking—from camera movement and editing to speed ramps and visual pacing. The result is a simple detail that gives the identity personality while remaining clean and timeless.
This same visual language extends into the A&T monogram, creating a compact brand mark that can be used confidently across social media, apparel, vehicles and video watermarks.
Colour Palette
The final colour palette centres around two complementary shades of green, creating an identity that feels confident, modern and instantly recognisable.
A rich dark green forms the foundation of the brand, communicating reliability, longevity and strong working relationships. Paired with it is a vibrant light green that introduces energy, movement and creativity, reflecting the dynamic nature of photography and filmmaking. It acts as an accent throughout the identity, drawing attention to key details while bringing freshness and contrast to the overall brand.
Together, the two greens create a distinctive visual system that stands apart from the more predictable black-and-white creative industry aesthetic. The palette is versatile across digital and print applications, working seamlessly on everything from social media and websites to uniforms, vehicles and signage.
The Outcome
The finished identity gives A&T Media a visual presence that reflects the quality of its work and the direction of the business.
It’s confident without feeling rigid, creative without becoming overly expressive, and built to grow alongside the studio. Most importantly, it tells a story unique to Aaron and Taylor by capturing their background, their approach to filmmaking, and the movement that sits at the heart of everything they create.
